Something Serious (supposed to be on BRATTYMODEL.COM)

Hey BrattyModels! I just wanted to talk about something that kinda does bother me at times and sometimes it doesn't. I live in a Caucasian- dominant town and i attend school there. Sometimes the kids can be mean but mostly they are pretty nice. I am black, no saying "black" is not being racist or mean. It is a heritage. I am not fully african-american although i am partly.  the definition of african- american is someone who has come or related to someone who has come from africa. but my family has a lot of other heritages: My moms side of the family is jewish, african- american, indian (eastern), native american (Iroquois) and possibly irish (we r still researching). whereas my dad's side of the family is: Jamaican, scottish, English and possibly Welsh (still researching). My dads family HATES it when people call them african-american, because they are not! its like calling a puerto rican, mexican or a Israelite indian. So if you have a friend or you are trying to find out what heritage they are, just call them black. its not mean or racist, its the truth. I call myself black and so do my friends, i dont blow up in their faces or anything. Also, we have a family friend who is african- american, but she is white. She moved to the states when she was younger, but was born and raised in Africa.  I'm just here to say, watch what you say and try not to be disrespectful. Dont forget to comment! Pce, luv+pose :)
